We are currently hiring a Manager, Planning to join our Maritime Solutions team that helps keep the U.S. Navy Fleet mission ready. As a Manager, Planning, you will:
+ Provide guidance and oversight to Schedulers in the development and execution of integrated production and master schedules, as well as other schedules for multiple Department of Defense ship repair projects
+ Develop and maintain integrated production and master schedules, and oversee the development and maintenance of schedules in support of Program and Project Managers
+ Lead and mentor team members to improve scheduling and resource forecasting
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align resources to meet business goals
+ Identify and mitigate risks, and recommend contingency plans
+ Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve scheduling and resource forecasting
+ Provide support to new business development and financial planning
+ Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company procedures
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Bachelor's Degree in related field (e.g. Engineering, Business, Management) and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience
+ Experience in Scheduling/Planning
+ Experience in Performance Management (KPIs, Metrics, etc.)
+ Experience in Data Analytics and Reporting to support stakeholder decision-making
+ Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM)
+ Knowledge of Planning/Scheduling principles (Integrated Master Plans (IMS), Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), Critical Path, etc.)
+ Knowledge of Program/Project Management methodologies (Gantt, PERT, etc.)
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Experience in US Navy Ship Repair, Shipbuilding, or Maritime industry
+ Experience in Deltek Open Plan software or similar scheduling tools
+ Experience in Deltek Cobra Software or similar Earned Value Management tools
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $116419 - $197912
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
