    Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Infrastructure DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust DevOps pipelines focused on deploying and managing cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. This role is crucial to driving automation, enforcing governance through policy and gates, and enabling secure, repeatable, and scalable infrastrucute deployments using IaC and CI/CD pipelines.

    CI/CD Pipeline Development & Governance:

    • Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and validation.

    • Integrate quality gates, approvals, and security scans into pipelines to enforce policy compliance, naming conventions, tagging standards, and change control.

    • Create pipeline templates for reusable and consistent deployment patterns across teams.

    • Implement pipeline gates that validate:

    o Azure Policy compliance

o Role-based access control (RBAC) checks

o Cost estimation and tagging enforcement

    o Infrastructure test results (e.g., integration/validation tests)

    Infrastructure as Code & Automation:

    • Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates in version-controlled repositories.

    • Automate provisioning of infrastructure components including virtual networks, resource groups, VNets, key vaults, monitoring, and security components.

    • Implement idempotent deployment logic and handle drift detection.

    Azure Governance & Policy Enforcement:

    • Define and apply Azure Policies, Initiatives, and Blueprints to enforce cloud governance, security controls, and regulatory compliance.

    • Integrate policy validation steps into DevOps pipelines to prevent non-compliant resource deployment.

    • Monitor and report on compliance via Azure Policy Insights and integrate with dashboards.

    Collaboration & Support:

    • Partner with platform, security, and application teams to deliver compliant infrastructure platforms and Landing Zones.

    • Provide DevOps guidance to infrastructure and application teams for adopting CI/CD and GitOps best practices.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline issues, infrastructure failures, and deployment inconsistencies.
