Compensation: $23.00 - $24.50 per hour

Who You Are:
The Position is a key support position for the Francis and Clare Permanent Supportive Housing Community. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive support to residents with high-acuity needs by referral to promote skill building, independence with ADLs and IADLs, and housing retention.
What You Will Work On:
+ Offer appropriate group activities for residents. Activities may include skills classes, presentations, assisted grocery shopping trips, or social activities. Coordinate group activities with on-site program manager.
+ Seek and facilitate outside organizations hosting groups within the building, such as socials, instructional events, substance support groups, or wellness demonstrations
+ Help promote "healthy living" activities within the building Connect residents with food resources, such as assisting with operations of the building food pantry
+ Facilitate Skill Building Groups that will supervise and support residents with:
+ Cooking Safety demonstrations and Community Meal Preparation
+ Housekeeping Upkeep strategies
+ Accessible Wellness
+ Mindfulness and relaxation
+ Conflict Resolution and De-escalation
+ Perform appropriate Skills Assessments personalized plans for residents, identifying needs and setting measurable goals using formats such as the Arizona Self Sufficiency Matrix and the Lubben Social Network Scale
What You Bring:
Education, Certifications, and Licensure Requirements/Preferences
+ High school diploma or equivalent lived and/or worked experience required.
+ Current THW or PSS Certification required.
+ QMHA, CADC, or other mental health/addictions training preferred.
Experience Requirements/Preferences
+ Minimum 1 year working as a skills trainer required.
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience working with formerly houseless individuals preferred.
+ Ability to use Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Background and MVR Screening:
Satisfactory results from pre-employment criminal and civil background screening required. Motor vehicle records (MVR) review required as needed.
