    SUMMARY OF JOB

    SUMMARY OF JOB:

    Supports the lead admissions liaison in regards to all aspects of the Short Stay program resident admissions for Holy Redeemer LifeCare. This will include visiting and evaluating residents prior to their admission when required and makes independent decisions regarding their appropriateness for which level of care for life care. Meets life care’s financial goals related to percentage of payor mix by assessing for the appropriate patients, assuring insurance approval and maintaining occupancy.

    RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS

    RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:

    LPN/ RN with rehab experience preferred

     

    Working knowledge of Computer software packages including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Point Click Care etc.

     

    Knowledge of short stay /rehab requirements for LTC setting.

     

    Knowledge of medical terminology and strong clinical assessment skills

     

    Familiarity with insurance companies and coverage requirements required

     

    Computer literate

     

    Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced, detail oriented manner

     

    Demonstrates effective communication, problem-solving and critical thinking skills

     

    Able to work flex hours
