    Job Description

    Elite Spine and Sports Physical Therapy has an opportunity for an energetic and customer-focused **Physical Therapist Assistant** for our Wilkes-Barre clinic location.

     

    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing team.

     

    We continue to grow in our Moosic, PA and Wilkes-Barre, PA sites, as well as have plans to expand beyond.

     

    Various programs include: Parkinson's rehab, Pelvic Rehab, peds, ortho, lymphedema, fitness, vestibular, blood flow restriction, outpatient in the home program.

    Duties

    + Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.

    + Conduct therapy sessions focusing on rehabilitation techniques for various conditions, including orthopedics, geriatrics, and pediatrics.

    + Monitor patient progress and document treatment outcomes accurately.

    + Educate patients and their families on exercise programs, care plans, and home exercise strategies.

    + Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment in accordance with clinic standards.

    + Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

    Requirements

    + Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or equivalent experience.

    + Knowledge of medical terminology and basic physiology is essential.

    + Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

    + Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

    + Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant is required.
