    **Location:** Tempe, AZ

    **Pay:** $30–$32/hour

    **Training Schedule:** Monday–Friday

    **Post-Training Schedule:** Second Shift, 1:30 PM – 12:00 AM, four 10-hour days with rotating weekends.

     

    PDS Tech Commercial has partnered with a global leader in the commercial manufacturing industry to hire a **Critical Environment HVAC Technician** . In this role, you’ll ensure the reliable operation of advanced HVAC systems that support cutting-edge semiconductor production. Your expertise will directly impact facility uptime, safety, and efficiency in one of the most demanding technical environments.

    What You’ll Do

    + Follow strict critical environment protocols while performing preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on chillers, boilers, cooling towers, and air handling units.

    + Operate and optimize building automation systems to maintain peak performance.

    + Conduct thorough inspections, document all work in CMMS, and escalate issues when needed.

    + Support continuous improvement by helping develop HVAC maintenance procedures and schedules.

    + Participate in safety meetings, perform hazard assessments, and ensure compliance with HVAC codes and regulations.

    + Work in demanding conditions, including lifting up to 80 lbs., climbing ladders, and operating in confined spaces.

    + Be available for on-call support to maintain 24/7 operational reliability.

     

    What You’ll Bring

    Must-Have Qualifications

    + 6+ years of HVAC technical experience, including at least 4 years in critical or industrial environments.

    + Proven ability to maintain and troubleshoot chillers, boilers, cooling towers, and process water systems (Cleaver Brooks Boiler and Trane Chiller experience strongly preferred).

    + Proficiency with building automation systems and CMMS documentation.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Familiarity with semiconductor facility HVAC systems.

    + Knowledge of energy optimization in critical environments.

    + Understanding of electrical systems as they relate to HVAC operations.

    **Pay Details:** $30.00 to $32.00 per hour
