Job Title:

Quality and Reliability Intern

Job Description:

Quality and Reliability students will be involved in various aspects of the roles at Allison Transmission, Inc. Key learning and development areas of quality with respect to warranty & issues tools development, structured problem solving techniques, data analysis, quality audits, and commercial industry customer quality expectations. Student will work closely with their assigned supervisor and complete a specific quality project during the assignment.

Qualifications and Experience:

+ No experience requirement – current enrollment in a 4-year engineering program with 3.0 GPA or higher

+ Strong desire to learn about quality and technical roles in the automotive industry and ability to work in a team environment

+ Demonstrated ability to communicate well in a business setting and across functional areas

+ Ability to read and interpret data and technical information

+ Proficiency with computer operation, including Microsoft Office tools and exposure to programming

+ Demonstrated knowledge of basic technical concepts corresponding with school year
