    Job Title: Donation Center Attendant Trainer Employer: Goodwill Industries

We're currently seeking a motivated and reliable Donation Center Attendant (ADC) Trainer to join our team.

     

    Position OverviewThe ADC Trainer is responsible for training and coaching team members at attended donation centers, ensuring excellent donor service, operational integrity, and stewardship of donations. This role also supports site operations, inspections, and sustainability initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Ensure a welcoming environment with prompt, friendly, and courteous donor service.

    + Open and close donation centers as assigned; report absences and oversee operational functions.

    + Greet donors within 10 seconds, unload donations, provide tax receipts, and collect donor zip codes.

    + Accurately track daily donations and organize items by category.

    + Assist with sustainability projects (e.g., Cleveland Rocks/Rags).

    + Perform regular site inspections, covering shifts, reviewing safety, loss prevention, and image standards.

    + Ensure sites maintain cleanliness, image, and supply levels; order and manage supplies responsibly.

    + Train, coach, and support ADC team members on performance, safety, and donor service standards.

    + Assist supervisors with checklists, inspections, reporting, performance management, and recognition.

    + Transport ADC trailers to and from homes or businesses as needed.

    + Participate in in-service training and represent Goodwill at external activities when requested.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    + Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.

    + Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and perform frequent physical activity (standing, walking, bending, stair climbing).

    + Willingness to work in outdoor conditions and in trailer environments.

    + Must wear provided uniform and identification badge.

    + Strong communication, customer service, and coaching skills.

    + Background check required.
