    About the role

     

    Membership Representative - Beaumont, TX

     

    On-call / as-needed, working on an as needed basis

     

    HealthFitness is looking for a **Membership Sales Representative** to join the team at our client site located in **Beaumont, Texas** . In this role you will drive new membership sales and membership retention through excellent customer service, relationship building and continued process improvement. The ideal candidate is self-driven, well-organized and possesses excellent communication skills.

     

    _This is an on-call position covering for regular staff when they are unable to work._

    Key Accountabilities:

    + Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and existing members via face-to-face service, phone, text, and email communication. Building lasting relationships with prospective and current members.

    + Meeting sales goals and generating leads through prospect, networking, and member referrals.

    + Promoting and attending facility social events.

    + Serving as facility ambassador to local businesses, corporations and community members.

    + May provide leadership presence on the floor to assist with issues that may arise and provide coverage when manager isn’t available.

    + Conduct tours of the facility and assist members with account changes and requests.

    + Other duties as needed/assigned

    Minimum Requirements

    + High School Diploma/GED.

    + Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, National Safety Council, or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.

    + 1-2 years previous sales experience.

    + Exceptional interpersonal skills.

    + Highly motivated and communicates effectively.

    + Passionate about helping others improve the quality of their lives.

    + Able and willing to listen to feedback and apply it moving forward.

     

    Compensation: $9.00/hour
