Manual Machinist / Machine Operator – Manual Only

**Location:** Port Arthur, TX

**Job Type:** Full-Time

**Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Overtime as needed)

**Pay:** $24+/hr (DOE)

About the Role

Are you a hands-on machinist ready to take the next step in your career? Kelly’s client in Port Arthur is seeking a **Manual Machinist – not CNC** – who takes pride in their craft and knows their way around traditional machining equipment. What You’ll Do

+ **Run and operate manual machining tools:** including lathes, mills, and drill presses (absolutely no CNC work!).

+ **Produce high-precision components:** Work from drawings and specifications with exceptional accuracy.

+ **Maintain safety and order:** Keep your work area clean, follow safety guidelines, and spot hazards before they happen.

+ **Team collaboration:** Communicate clearly and support your coworkers to reach production targets.

What We Need

+ **Minimum 2 years of manual machining experience** (NO CNC backgrounds—manual machines only).

+ **Expertise with manual lathes, mills, and drill presses** —must be comfortable setting up, operating, and troubleshooting.

+ **Keen attention to detail** with a strong commitment to quality.

+ **Reliability & independence** —we trust you to own your work and your results.

Compensation

+ **Starting at $24/hr and up, depending on experience.**

+ **Overtime available** as production demands.
