Job Description:
The Revenue Cycle Manager has direct oversight of the billing and collection process from the receipt of compliant clinical information from the clinical staff through the collection of and posting of the payments and adjustments. This position also interfaces with internal and external vendors.

Essential Functions
+ Manages all aspects of the revenue cycle, including patient registration, billing, coding, claims submission, payment posting, and collections.
+ Leads and mentors the revenue cycle team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development. Responsible for staffing, performance management and coaching of the team.
+ Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in the revenue cycle.
+ Ensures all revenue cycle activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as payer requirements.
+ Generates and analyzes revenue cycle reports to monitor performance, identify trends, and develop strategies for improvement.
+ Collaborates with clinical, administrative, and financial staff to ensure seamless revenue cycle operations.

Minimum Qualifications
+ Demonstrated experience working in finance, accounting or billing.
+ Demonstrated experience working with revenue cycle processes and tools.
+ Demonstrated knowledge of revenue cycle management, processes and best practices
+ Medical Coding or Billing Certification
Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field
+ Two years of experience leading a medical billing team in revenue cycle management health care environment
+ Experience with both air and ground ambulance revenue cycle operations
+ Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
Physical Requirements
+ Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, documents, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs.
+ Frequent interactions with providers, colleagues, customers, patients/clients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.
+ Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use for typing, accessing needed information, etc.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$38.55 - $59.49
