    **Description:** What We're Doing:

    Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a IT Systems Administrator college intern

    candidate to join our team based out of King of Prussia, PA\. This position is in the C4ISR market segment supporting United States Air Force and Navy programs specializing in software under the Weapons Platform Integration organization\.

    The Work:

    The candidate will work in an agile environment providing support for implementation, troubleshooting and

    maintenance of various Information Technology \(IT\) systems\. Manages IT systems including day\-to\-day operations, monitoring and problem

    resolution for all of the

    client/server/storage/network devices\. Patches and hardening of Linux RedHat OS and MS Windows\. They will work with Security personnel to protect against Cyber Threats\. Candidate must be able to work

     

    within a team environment\. Work location will be in King of Prussia, PA\.

    Who You Are:

    \-Candidate is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related degree from an accredited college\.

    Basic Qualifications:

    \- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer

     

    Science, Software Engineering, or related degree from an accredited college\.

     

    \- Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance\. This position is located at a facility that requires special access

     

    \- Ability to work well in an Agile team

     

    environment

     

    \- Experience with Linux and MS Windows system administration

     

    \- Experience in software practices and

     

    configuration management

    Desired Skills:

    \- Effective oral and written communication skills

     

    \- Scripting experience

     

    \- CompTIA Security\+ Cert

     

    \- Ability to work effectively in a rapid paced,

     

    team environment

     

    \- RedHat and MS Windows OS patching/hardening experience

     

    \- Virtualization and or containerization experience

    \- Strong verbal and written communication skills

    **Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

    **Clearance Level:** Secret

    **Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

    **Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
