The **Project Manager, School of Medicine** is responsible for managing projects of various size and scope related to the operations of the department. This role oversees and implements all aspects of project management assignments and related duties to support the department.
This is a Full Time position for Student Affairs and Wellbeing department with the School of Medicine.
This is a hybrid position - first 90 days will be fully onsite in Nutley for orientation to the school. After 90 days, it will be 3 days onsite in Nutley and 2 days remote.
This position will help optimize the implementation of systems needed to support the continued growth of HMSOM, specifically the Office of Student Affairs and Wellbeing.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
+ Master's degree in business administration or related field.
+ Minimum of 3 or more years of experience.
+ Experience in project management.
+ Knowledge of project management platforms.
+ Strong research and/or internet search tool skills.
+ Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects.
+ Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects in an academic setting.
+ Excellent time-management, organization, and coordination skills.
+ Ability to utilize critical thinking skills in making decisions that support the mission, vision, values and goals.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
+ Experience in large, multi-location, complex business processes.
+ Experience in Higher Education.
+ Experience with Asana.
Licenses and Certifications Preferred:
+ Certified Associate in Project Management or Project Management Professional Certification.
+ Certification in Lean Six-Sigma Processes or Six Sigma Lean Black Belt Professional.
