Job Summary and Qualifications

What qualifications you will need:

EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:

A graduate of an accredited program in Cardiovascular Technology required.

OR

A graduate of a degree granting program in a health science (includes, but not limited to, ultrasound, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, nursing or paramedic) with a current certification or registration required.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:

Related healthcare experience required.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:

Demonstrated communications and customer service skills, success in organizing work, computer skills, and ability to multi-task.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: (list required and preferred separately)

COMPETENCIES: The competencies identified for this position are summarized and reviewed periodically throughout employment. The required behaviors and measurement associated with core, job specific, age specific, and management (if applicable) competencies and are maintained in the department education file.

+ Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

+ Vocational School Graduate

+ (RDCS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or (RCS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
