    Job Purpose Summary

    As an **Area Sales Director** at Corza Medical, you will play a crucial role in our mission to enhance the success of our Wound Closure division by leading a team of sales managers and clinical specialists within assigned region. This role is an integral part of the Wound Closure Sales Leadership team and works closely with Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, Commercial Operations, Human Resources, and other key internal and external stakeholders to achieve business results. Reporting to the Vice President of US Sales, you will embody our Customer First value by anticipating field needs, adapting to evolving priorities, and creating solutions that elevate the customer experience.

    What you will do

    + Hire, train and retain a diverse, highly motivated team of territory sales managers and clinical specialists while providing ongoing career coaching, growth, and development opportunities.

    + Ensure that the team have the tools and knowledge necessary for effective decision making and are best prepared for delivering results.

    + Maintain contact with major accounts within assigned region and assist sales team with maintaining relationships.

    + Work with the sales team to create new business opportunities within the region.

    + Play a part in discussing/negotiating contract discussion at the individual/IDN/GPO level.

    + Develop and execute regional sales strategies to expand our market presence and increase product sales.

    + Partner with major distribution partners to drive continued revenue growth.

    + Contribute to the development of the annual sales plan for acute and nonacute business in the US.

    + Establish sales and market targets, identify, and address key issues, implement customer penetration, and acquisition initiatives, set objectives and annual sales plans for the team.

    + Lead team in the development and execution of sales strategies focused on increasing market share and customer satisfaction, enhancing customer support, and introducing new products and services.

    + Remain current on industry and market trends, and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the Corza Medical's Would Closure products, markets, and objectives.

    + Play an important role in the development and implementation of sales strategies related to National Accounts, Channel Partners, IDN’s and GPOs.

    + Prepare and gain approval for annual sales expense budget for region and provide timely and accurate status reports.

    + Responsible for the effective implementation and usage of sales management tools.

    What you will need

    + Bachelor’s degree required and Master’s degree preferred.

    + 5+ years sales management experience in medical devices and/or disposable medical products.

    + 8+ years successful track record managing high-performing sales team within surgical and/or medical equipment sales.

    + 5+ years developing Salesforce forecasting to analysis and track sales activities of sales team, to identify gaps, and implement solutions to validate or determine the direction of the business strategies.

    + Experience in multiple target surgical specialties (Dermatology, Plastic, General & Orthopedic Surgery) highly desired.

    + Experience preparing, writing, and implementing effective regional sales plans using financial data.

    + Experience partnering closely with cross-functional teams in achieving key metrics and strategic goals/targets.

    + Demonstrate Corza Medical’s leadership behaviors and values.

    + Ability and willingness to travel 35% - 50% of the time.

    _Corza Medical offers a competitive benefits package including medical, 401K, vacation and sick time, paternal leave and other benefits._

     

    _A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this role is $260,000 - $290,000 (total compensation - base + bonus). Further, pay is offered based on geographic location, internal equity, market data, applicant’s job-related skills, commensurate experience, required licensures, certifications, and certain degrees._
