Job Description

David Weekley Homes is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Summer 2026 Design Consultant intern to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Responsibilities:

+ Learn the process of supporting buyers through the design process

+ Become familiar with the new home buying process as it pertains to buyers making selections for their new home

+ Candidate will observe design appointments with buyers and assist with supporting documentation

+ Observe conflict resolution and creating customer delight.

+ Support designers with computer entry of selections and documents

+ Support in maintenance of Design Center Inventory

Qualifications

+ Driven to excel

+ Enjoy learning and taking on new challenges

+ A positive, team player attitude

+ Enjoy building relationships with people

+ Provide exceptional customer service

+ Must have housing available in the greater Raleigh, NC area for the duration of the internship

+ Must be currently enrolled in a college program with an interest in starting a career in Residential Construction/Homebuilding
