**OUC – The** **_Reliable_** **One** , an industry leader and the second-largest municipal utility in Florida, is offering an internship program in the Treasury Services division.

We are looking for a **Finance Intern- Spring 2026** .

OUC’s Treasury team is divided into 4 different functions, Accounts Payables, Payments, Business Expenses and Payroll. Intern will learn daily tasks for Accounts Payables, Payments and Business Expenses. During the internship experience, you will be involved in supporting the team in various capacities, from daily Accounts Payable and Payments functions to supporting with specific projects needs and variety of assignments, gaining a well-rounded understanding of the finance/accounting cycle from a business perspective.

Internship Eligibility and Requirements

+ Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university in a degree seeking program.

+ Academic status of Sophomore and above.

+ Program of study: Accounting, Finance, or Business

+ Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above

+ Authorized to work in the United States

+ Ability to commit to a part-time schedule between **January 12, 2026** through **May 1, 2026**

Primary Functions:

+ Support and learn the Accounts Payable cycle, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliation.

+ Support the designated business unit’s specific project needs.

+ Actively contribute to day-to-day functions within the business unit.

+ Assist with invoices and statements, and learn their workflows from submission to approval

+ Apply diversified knowledge in academic discipline principles to a variety of assignments.

+ Participate in collaborative meetings and work sessions.

+ Good work ethic and attention to detail

+ Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel

Technical Requirements

+ Must have taken Intro to Financial Accounting, Intro to Managerial Accounting, and Finance prior to start of the internship.

+ Ability to proofread and research manuals and processes

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Ability to communicate in a professional and clear manner

**Compensation** : $17 per hour, varies depending the education level
