    Our client, a leading technology infrastructure organization, is seeking a dedicated Infrastructure Delivery Cable Install Technician to join their team. As an Infrastructure Delivery Cable Install Technician, you will be part of the infrastructure operations team supporting cabling, hardware installation, and project execution. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, attention to detail, and strong communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    Job Title: Infrastructure Delivery Cable Install Technician

     

    Pay Rate: $23.50 per hour

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Install, inspect, and troubleshoot structured copper and fiber optic cabling in data center environments.

    + Perform physical installation of network and server racks, patch panels, and related devices.

    + Coordinate daily material delivery, movement, and installation of enterprise IT equipment.

    + Maintain accurate inventory and documentation for all infrastructure components.

    + Utilize ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) and communication tools (e.g., Slack, email) to track and report the status of tasks.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA, BICSI) are a plus.

    + 1+ years of experience in IT support, infrastructure installation, cabling, or a related field.

    + Solid understanding of computer hardware, networking devices, switches, servers, and cable management best practices.

    + Comfortable working in physical, hands-on roles involving cable termination, racking, and equipment deployment.

    + Strong analytical and communication skills.
