Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be part of the IT Operations supporting critical financial applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** AIX / Linux Systems Admin

What's the Job?

+ Manage and maintain AIX and Linux servers, ensuring high availability and optimal performance

+ Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues, including hardware, OS, and network-related problems

+ Implement and maintain system monitoring tools and processes to proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks

+ Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and support teams to deploy and maintain system configurations

+ Automate system administration tasks using shell scripting or configuration management tools

What's Needed?

+ At least 4 years of experience in AIX and/or Linux system administration

+ Experience with system monitoring and performance tools such as Nagios, Splunk, Dynatrace, or similar

+ Familiarity with incident management systems and troubleshooting methodologies

+ Proficiency in automation and scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Perl

+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
