    CNC Turret Press Setup/Operator – New Machines, New Opportunities

     

    We’re hiring **3 skilled machine operators** in Bangor — **1 Turret Press Setup/Operator** and **2 Press Brake Operators** — to support expansion at a growing local manufacturer. These roles pay **$21+/hr DOE** and are **Temp-to-Hire** opportunities with long-term growth potential.

    Typical daily duties:

    • Set up and run a CNC turret punch press with minimal supervision

    • Assemble and maintain punches and dies; perform daily maintenance

    • Produce first samples, inspect using measuring tools, and edit programs as required

    • Operate a forklift to move raw materials, scrap, and completed parts

    • Maintain program database and recommend tooling purchases

    What we’re looking for:

    • Certificate from a college/technical school OR 3–6 months of relevant experience/training

    • Strong math skills (algebra, geometry, proportions, percentages, volume, etc.)

    • Ability to read blueprints, follow written/oral instructions, and solve problems with common sense reasoning
