Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a Plant Controller to join their team. As a Plant Controller, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting operational financial management. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
What's the Job?
+ Oversee all accounting operations, including financial reporting and analysis for multiple plant locations.
+ Ensure compliance with professional standards and federal and state regulations, maintaining strong internal controls.
+ Prepare and present consolidated financial statements and reports to senior leadership.
+ Lead product costing efforts, analyzing resource utilization and allocating costs accurately across sites.
+ Manage inventory procedures through routine cycle counts, physical inventories, and oversight of raw materials, MRO, and finished goods.
What's Needed?
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or CPA preferred.
+ Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on cost accounting and reporting.
+ Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
+ Experience managing inventory and conducting audits.
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
