    **Job Title:** Seasonal Facility Technician (Handyman)

    **Location:** Rancho Cucamonga, CA

    **Pay Range:** $21/hr.

    **Schedule:** 20 hours/week

    **Assignment Type:** Part-Time Seasonal (Holiday Season)

     

    We're looking for a reliable and hands on **Seasonal Facility Technician** to help ensure the smooth operation of our client's facility (mall) during the busy holiday season. The Facility Technician will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and repairs across a variety of building systems, including plumbing, minor electrical, HVAC, and event/holiday setups.

     

    What’s the Job?

     

    + Perform routine and emergency **plumbing repairs** , such as fixing leaks, clearing clogs, and maintaining pipes and fixtures.

    + Conduct **minor electrical repairs** including replacing outlets, light fixtures, and ensuring electrical systems are operating safely.

    + Assist with maintaining and repairing **HVAC systems** , ensuring comfort and efficiency during peak demand.

    + Set up and break down **holiday decorations and event setups** in preparation for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other seasonal events.

    + Conduct **preventive maintenance** on building systems to avoid emergency repairs.

    + Respond quickly to emergency maintenance needs and unexpected issues.

    + Work closely with facility management needs and other contractors to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

    + Maintain records of all repairs, services, and completed work for future reference.

     

    What’s Needed?

     

    + 1-2 years of experience in **building maintenance** , specifically in plumbing, minor electrical work, and HVAC systems.

    + Solid working knowledge of **plumbing, electrical systems** , and general maintenance tasks.

    + **Event and holiday setup** experience is a plus (e.g., decorating, installing lights, and arranging spaces for seasonal events).

    + Ability to troubleshoot and fix problems efficiently and safely.

    + Strong communication skills to work with team members, contractors. and management.

    + **Physical stamina** to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and working at heights or in confined spaces.

    + Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.

    + Certifications in plumbing, electrical work, or HVAC systems are a plus.

    Additional Requirements:

    + Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (e.g. cold, heat, heights).

    + Must be able to remain on feet for extended periods of time.

    + Must be available to work during key holiday periods (Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.)
