Responsibilities
The Maintenance Technician provides rotorcraft maintenance services primarily at one of three bases of operation (Eau Claire, WI; Rochester and Mankato, MN) with expectation of covering maintenance tasks at non-primary base of operation when necessary. Is expected to follow the Mayo Clinic Culture of Safety by modeling five safety behaviors (pay attention to detail; communicate clearly; have a questioning and receptive attitude; hand-off effectively; support each other), with the ultimate goal to place the needs of our patients first by ensuring aviation safety. Actively participates in a Safety Management System (SMS), acts as a delegate to the Director of Maintenance as needed, and performs additional tasks as necessary to support the Mayo Clinic air carrier certificate for part 135 operations. This position is 0.8 FTE/32 hours per week with a minimum of 128 hours on-call required every two weeks to include on-call coverage every other weekend. There is a required base schedule of on-duty hours determined by the Director of Maintenance to support the business needs of Mayo One.
Qualifications
High school diploma. Three (3) years' Civilian experience with turbine-engine Helicopters.
Preferred Qualifications
Three (3) years' of specific model aircraft experience; (BK 117 / H145 Series). Three (3) years' FAA part 135 field experience; Three (3) years' FAA part 145 shop experience; Factory approved or equivalent school on specified aircraft. Advanced electrical troubleshooting skills.
License/Certification
Able to pass FAA & TSA security background checks as well as drug & alcohol screenings, along with Mayo pre-employment drug testing. Maintain on-going compliance with continuous DOT drug & alcohol program. FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.

Schedule Details
This position is 32 hours per week (0.8 FTE), serving up to 2 bases concurrently, there is a minimum of 128 hours “On-Call” during each two-week pay period, this includes “On-Call” coverage every other weekend.
Weekend Schedule
On call coverage every other weekend.
The on-call schedule will be determined by the Director of Maintenance to support the business needs of Mayo Clinic Air Operations.
