Production Associate
Job Overview
The Production Associate is responsible for monitoring molding machine operations, ensuring product quality, and maintaining cleanliness in the Main Molding and Polycams areas. This role supports manufacturing efficiency and product integrity through hands-on tasks and quality control.
Key Responsibilities
+ Operate and monitor up to five molding presses based on production schedules.
+ Inspect molded products hourly for defects; report issues to Team Leader, Processor, or Supervisors.
+ Grind runners and clean tracks, bowls, and conveyors as needed.
+ Perform quality checks and hygrade products for defects.
+ Label products and separate accepted/rejected items.
+ Operate grinders and presses to meet production specifications and deadlines.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area, including walkways and aisles.
+ Perform general housekeeping (sweeping, trash removal).
+ Lift/move items up to 35 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, squatting, and reaching.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in production, general labor, or manufacturing.
+ Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks.
+ Preferred: 1+ year experience in a similar role.
+ Preferred: Experience with plastic injection molding.
+ Proficiency in machine operation and hand tools.
Additional Responsibilities
+ May assist with assembly and inspection tasks.
+ May be assigned other duties based on skill and availability.

+ **1st Shift:** 6:42 AM – 3:12 PM
+ **2nd Shift:** 2:42 PM – 11:12 PM
+ **3rd Shift:** 10:42 PM – 7:12 AM
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
