Job Title: Construction Foreman

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Foreman to lead and manage a crew in a safe and efficient manner. This role involves organizing team efforts, tracking production, and maintaining a clean job site while working closely with the Site Superintendent.

Responsibilities

+ Organize and lead a crew in a safe and productive manner.

+ Track production and complete daily paperwork.

+ Maintain a clean and tidy job site.

+ Lead by example and provide guidance to crew members.

+ Relay production goals to the crew and ensure they are met.

+ Collaborate closely with the Site Superintendent.

+ Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of experience managing a heavy equipment operating crew.

+ Proficiency in operating various equipment including Dozer, Track Hoe, and Grader.

+ Working experience with GPS systems such as Trimble or TopCon.

+ Strong leadership abilities and interpersonal skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with heavy equipment operations.

+ Civil construction and supervision skills.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Pipe crew experience.

+ Experience with site development and operating excavators and dozers.

Work Environment

This role involves working outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold. You must provide your own personal protective equipment, including boots, vest, hard hat, and gloves.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Walterboro, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr.
