Job Title: Housekeeper (Environmental Services)

Schedule: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Openings: 1

Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Every 3rd weekend & rotating holidays

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to providing high-quality service in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform routine cleaning and janitorial tasks in patient rooms, public areas, and common spaces using established procedures.

+ Complete discharge cleaning in inpatient rooms and prepare them for new admissions.

+ Set up and reset rooms as needed, including changing linens, mopping floors, and arranging furnishings.

+ Maintain cleanliness and functionality of housekeeping equipment according to guidelines.

+ Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.

Required Skills

+ General cleaning and housekeeping

+ Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing

+ Trash removal and floor care (including buffing)

+ Customer service and communication

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Experience

+ Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or environmental services roles

+ Experience in a hospital or medical facility is a plus

Additional Information

+ Will be required to work every third weekend and rotate holidays

+ Physical requirements include standing, walking, bending, and lifting

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
