Job Title:** **Assistant Sanitation Supervisor

**Location:** Bath, Maine

**Pay:** $20/hour

**Shift:** 4:30 PM – 1:30 AM

About the Role:

Join our team in a leadership role focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and food-compliant facility. As Assistant Sanitation Supervisor, you’ll help guide the sanitation crew, ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

+ Supervise and support the sanitation team during the afternoon shift

+ Perform and oversee cleaning tasks (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing)

+ Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation protocols

+ Manage nightly factory closing and verify checklist completion

+ Document pest control and oversee deep cleaning schedules

+ Respond to sanitation needs after repairs or product development

+ Monitor waste handling and report food safety concerns

Qualifications:

+ Experience in sanitation, janitorial, or cleaning roles

+ Familiarity with food safety standards

+ Ability to perform physical tasks (bending, twisting, kneeling)

+ Strong attention to detail and safety

+ Leadership and team motivation skills

Work Environment:

You’ll work in a large, open production area with consistent temperatures. This role does not require working in colder rooms.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
