Job Title: Sheeter

Job Description

The role involves accurately and safely loading raw sheet materials into sheeting machines. You will assist in machine setup and calibration under supervision, monitor machine operations, report any irregularities, and remove finished sheets for transportation to designated areas. Maintaining cleanliness and organization around the machine is essential, as is supporting quality control by inspecting output for defects or inconsistencies. Following safety protocols and wearing required PPE is mandatory. Collaboration with team members and supervisors to meet production goals is also a key aspect of this role.

Responsibilities

+ Load raw sheet materials into sheeting machines accurately and safely.

+ Assist in machine setup and calibration under supervision.

+ Monitor machine operation and report any irregularities or malfunctions.

+ Remove finished sheets and transport them to designated areas.

+ Maintain cleanliness and organization around the machine and work area.

+ Support quality control by inspecting output for defects or inconsistencies.

+ Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE (gloves, earplugs, etc.).

+ Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

Essential Skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs.

Work Environment

The work environment is a production setting within a manufacturer of plastic packaging. The role involves working as a Material Handler in Finishing, with hours from 3 pm to 11 pm, Monday through Friday. The job requires heavy lifting of boxes, scanning, and attention to detail.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warwick, Rhode Island.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
