Job Title: Component Technician $25-28/hr 1st shift

Job Description

We are seeking skilled mechanics to assist with and repair our existing fleet of petroleum and gas trucks. As a Component Technician, you will utilize hand and power tools daily, following established repair and service procedures.

Responsibilities

+ Perform general repairs on propane and refined fuel trucks and transports.

+ Inspect trucks and trailers to determine necessary service and repairs.

+ Repair pumps, meters, valves, and piping systems.

+ Troubleshoot and calibrate electronic equipment.

+ Assist the service manager with additional repairs and services when needed.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in repair and service.

+ Proficiency in hydraulics and pneumatics.

+ Knowledge of brakes, suspensions, lights, and body work.

+ Experience with hand and power tools.

+ Engine troubleshooting and service skills.

+ Electrical troubleshooting.

+ Installation and preventive maintenance.

+ Ability to read 1/8”, 1/16”, and 1/32” gradations on a tape measure.

+ Ability to convert feet to inches and vice versa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
