    Job Description

    Join a dynamic team as a Civil Engineer, working closely with project managers to produce commercial site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D. You will be involved from the initial surveying stages to the final stages of permitting, ensuring the construction aligns with the design and consulting with clients.

    Responsibilities

    + Produce commercial site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

    + Design subdivisions and manage site development.

    + Visit job sites to ensure construction matches the design.

    + Consult with clients and work with city and government organizations to gather necessary information for design.

    + Manage multiple projects simultaneously, typically ranging from 1-2 weeks in duration.

    + Participate in the process from initial surveying to final permitting, which can take up to 5 months for large projects.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a similar field.

    + 5+ years of design experience in commercial land development or site design.

    + Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

    + Experience in site plan design, stormwater management, and drainage calculations.

    + Strong communication skills with clients and colleagues.

    + EIT certification required; PE preferred.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Ability to understand contours and grading plans.

    + Experience with detention calculations.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $58.00/hr.
