Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative with working knowledge in electrical controls systems to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge of automation and control solutions with proven sales experience. This role requires the ability to build long-term customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and drive revenue growth by providing value-driven solutions.

Responsibilities Include

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients across multiple industries.

• Identify, pursue, and close sales opportunities in electrical controls, automation, and related services.

• Conduct client meetings, site visits, and technical presentations to understand customer needs and propose tailored solutions.

• Work closely with engineering and project teams to ensure customer requirements are met.

• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract negotiation and closing.

• Stay up to date on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies in automation and controls.

• Assist in preparing proposals, quotes, and sales reports to management.

• Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities.

Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in electrical controls, automation, or related technical fields.

• Strong understanding of PLC, HMIs, and industrial automation systems.

• Demonstrated success in business development and account management.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to travel regionally to meet with clients.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $110000.00/hr.
