Job Title: Substation QC Construction Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a Substation Construction Manager to oversee a large substation project in Sherman, TX, supporting a CHIPS project. This role involves managing all construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and coordinating with project employees and subcontractors.
Responsibilities
+ Oversee and coordinate all construction activities for the substation project.
+ Ensure subcontractors execute work according to safety, quality, reporting, contract, standards, change management, risk management, and schedule requirements.
+ Maintain proper communication with the project team and stakeholders.
+ Conduct standardized reporting and appropriate construction meetings.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in substation construction.
+ Proficiency in construction management.
+ Knowledge of civil engineering principles.
+ Possession of OSHA Construction 30 certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with large-scale construction projects.
+ Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Work Environment
The role is part of a significant chips manufacturing project with a leading Engineering and Construction firm in the Power industry. Expect a supportive team environment with comprehensive resources. Benefits include per diem and a company truck. The project involves work in various locations, including Texas and Louisiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $48.00/hr.
