    Description

    We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented CAD Drafter to support our architects and interior designers on branded hospitality projects, including work with Marriott and Hilton. This role is fully onsite, five days per week in our Richmond office, and requires strong AutoCAD skills, excellent file management, and the ability to collaborate with multiple project teams in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Produce accurate architectural and interior design drawings, including plans, elevations, and details in AutoCAD (2D).

    + Translate sketches, mark-ups, and redlines into clear, buildable construction documents.

    + Maintain and manage a unified drawing set for use by architects and designers.

    + Organize, rename, and track project files to ensure consistent and clean documentation.

    + Collaborate with project managers, architects, and designers to ensure drawings align with design intent, brand standards, and building codes.

    + Support revisions during permitting and construction administration.

    + Balance multiple priorities while meeting project deadlines.

     

    Requirements • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Drafting, or a related field preferred.

     

    • Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, or similar software is a plus.

    • Minimum of 2 years of drafting experience, preferably in hospitality, commercial, or upscale residential projects.

    • Strong knowledge of construction documentation, detailing, and building codes.

    • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage time effectively.

    • Solid communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

    • Experience with 3D modeling or rendering software like 3D Studio Max or SolidWorks is advantageous.

    • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Enterprise tools for project coordination is a plus. Innovation starts with people.®
