    Description

    We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Basketball Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching, particularly in basketball, and possess the ability to inspire and motivate young athletes. This role involves developing players' skills, promoting teamwork, and fostering a positive learning environment. The Basketball Coach will work closely with students of varying skill levels, ensuring they receive quality instruction and support.

     

    Dates Needed: October 20-December 17

    Duties

    + Plan and implement practice schedules that align with the team's goals and objectives.

    + Assess players' strengths and weaknesses to provide tailored coaching strategies.

    + Organize and supervise competitive games, ensuring adherence to rules and regulations.

    + Foster a positive team culture that encourages respect, discipline, and hard work.

    + Maintain open communication with players, parents, and school administration regarding player progress and team activities.

    + Utilize behavior management techniques to promote a safe and productive training environment.

     

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    Requirements

    + Knowledge of basketball techniques, strategies, and rules.

    + Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to various skill levels.

    + Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students.

    + Ability to provide a CPR certification or complete an on-line course that will be reimbursed upon completion.
