In this role, you will help shape the global training roadmap, support the launch of a company-wide technical knowledgebase, and improve the quality and accessibility of product documentation. While you will collaborate on training initiatives for all product lines, your primary focus will be developing and delivering training content for our electronics assembly manufacturing products in virtual, in-person, and microlearning formats. This role blends hands-on work with equipment, close collaboration with subject matter experts, and the application of adult learning principles to ensure our global teams, partners and customers have the knowledge they need to succeed.

    Primary Responsibilities** **:

    Training Development & Delivery

+ Maintain and deliver technical training programs for EAE products, leveraging existing content and selectively developing new materials for critical needs.

+ Adapt training for multiple formats, including virtual instructor-led, microlearning, and on-demand eLearning, with an emphasis on reducing reliance on in-person training.

+ Establish and refine training frameworks, partnering with engineers and SMEs for content creation while ensuring consistency, accuracy, and quality.

    Knowledgebase Development

+ Serve as a key contributor to the design, launch, and ongoing management of a technical knowledgebase.

+ Partner with cross-functional teams to define structure, processes, and governance for knowledge capture and sharing.

+ Assist with content creation, curation, and migration, ensuring material is accurate, searchable, and user-friendly.

    Microlearning & Video Production

+ Develop short-form learning content such as video tutorials, equipment demos, quick-reference guides, and process walk-throughs.

+ Film, edit, and produce videos in-house or coordinate with contractors/vendors to deliver professional-quality outputs.

+ Apply adult learning principles to ensure microlearning content is engaging, accessible, and effective.

    Documentation Review & Improvement

+ Audit existing technical documentation, identify gaps and outdated materials, and coordinate with technical writers and SMEs for updates.

+ Ensure documentation aligns with and supports training and knowledgebase content.

+ Proactively address documentation issues that limit training effectiveness.

    Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

+ Partner with customer support, engineering, and product management to identify recurring issues and proactively address them through training or documentation updates.

+ Administer the LMS, including content updates, user management, and reporting.

+ Measure and evaluate training effectiveness, leveraging data to improve content and delivery.

+ Research cost-effective tools and emerging trends in training, microlearning, and knowledge management to continuously improve capabilities.

    Required Skills & Experience** **:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent work experience).

+ 3–5 years’ experience in delivering technical training for capital equipment, manufacturing, or a similar industry.

+ Proven technical aptitude with the ability to work hands-on with complex equipment.

+ Experience creating and delivering training in multiple formats (virtual, instructor-led, microlearning, eLearning).

+ Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methods (ADDIE, SAM, Agile).

+ Ability to audit, assess, and improve technical documentation.

+ Excellent communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills.

+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a resource-limited environment.

+ The ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time.

    Preferred Skills & Experience

+ LMS administration experience (uploading content, user management, reporting).

+ Proficiency in video production tools (e.g., Camtasia, Snagit, Adobe Premiere) and/or ability to coordinate vendor-produced video content.

+ Experience developing knowledgebase content and structure.

+ Technical writing background or experience working closely with technical writers.

+ Familiarity with capital equipment used in the SMT manufacturing process.

+ Performance-Based Equipment Training (PBET) certification.

+ Proficiency in Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar eLearning tools.
