    Description

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Preparing electric take-offs and bid packages.

    + Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings.

    + Utilize our estimating software Accubid and Change Order.

    + Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to gather pricing information.

    + Participate in training sessions and continued education.

    + Maintain a professional and collaborative attitude in a team environment.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    + Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or a related field preferred.

    + Extensive experience in electric construction estimating may be substituted for the minimum education requirement.

    + Prior experience with Accubid and/or Change Order, preferred.

    + Ability to analyze bid documents and identify cost-saving opportunities.

    + Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

    + Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

    + Good communication and organizational skills.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take direction from senior staff.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present, negotiate, and build lasting client relationships.

    TRAVEL

    This position may require local travel to meet customers, attend meetings, entertain, etc.
