Job Title: Scheduling Representative – Radiology

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Scheduling Representative to manage patient scheduling for radiology appointments, outpatient testing, procedures, and exams. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a smooth patient experience by coordinating services, verifying insurance, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Coordinate and schedule patient appointments for radiology and outpatient services.

+ Verify insurance eligibility and update patient records with accurate coverage information.

+ Assess medical necessity for procedures, particularly for Medicare patients, in compliance with regulatory guidelines.

+ Collaborate with insurance verification teams to obtain authorizations for scheduled services.

+ Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation on patient accounts and insurance eligibility.

+ Communicate with patients regarding financial responsibilities, including copayments, prepayments, and outstanding balances, with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications:

+ Radiology scheduling experience is required.

+ Proficiency in EPIC EMR systems.

+ Strong customer service skills with a patient-first mindset.

+ Solid understanding of medical terminology and insurance processes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
