    PRODUCT OWNER

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experience Product Owner to join our team. The ideal candidates will work closely with Product Managers and Agile delivery teams to plan, deliver and optimize key products and services. This role requires a strategic thinking balanced with tactical execution; a strong understanding of SAFe methodologies, excellent communication skills and the ability to drive and manage cross-functional collaboration.

     

    Job Summary: Responsible for supporting Product Manager in the execution and delivery of capabilities. Partners and develops relationships with stakeholders to align with business strategy and quickly respond to opportunities. Effectively prioritizes the roadmap delivery, within the SAFe Agile framework, to deliver the most valuable initiatives for the Bank and its customers. Is responsible for building the backlog of work deliverables in Azure Dev Ops from Epics and Features down to the detailed user stories. Identifies, assesses, arbitrates and resolves conflicts and/or variances between functional group sub-processes and customer requirements. Oversees work process standardization, documentation, optimization and scalability.

     

    • Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    The essential functions include, but are not limited to:

    1. Manage planning and delivery of key themes, translating objectives and deliverables into Epics, Features and User Stories. Works with Delivery teams to organize and prioritize work efforts through Planning Increments.

    2. Drive product objectives with business outcomes and success metrics, design thinking, customer feedback and competitive analysis.

    3. Crafts epics, features and user stories for the enterprise capability, working directly with the delivery teams to deliver value.

    4. Collaborates cross-functionally to coordinate and manage resources and activities maximizing impact and overall return on investment.

    5. Works across team to ascertain, review and address the effectiveness and optimization challenges, and works with Leadership and across the governance structure to mitigate and resolve risks and issues relating to: associate engagement, behaviors, knowledge and skills, organizational priorities and/or dependencies, change and process improvement challenges.

    6. Interface with key stakeholders to deliver necessary pieces of our product with time-to-market excellence.

    7. Responsible for understanding the market and farm credit’s niche landscape in order to maintain competitiveness. Ensures product compliance with bank policies and regulatory standards. Maintains expertise regarding competition, best practices and benchmarks.

    8. Analyze customer feedback to identify customer successes and frustrations to improve the product and customer experience.

    19. Gather and evaluate data to solve complicated problems rationally through critical thinking, logical reasoning, data analysis and research.

    Other Qualifications:

    1. Experience with transformation programs and organizing large efforts into achievable deliverables.

    2. Proven experience working with technology, data teams, user experience teams, and key stakeholders in creating and delivering value.

    3. Ability to create, maintain, prioritize, and sequence the product backlog based on business value / ROI.

    4. Proven ability to think strategically and develop roadmaps for products and services.

    5. Ability to solve complex problems and develop Epics, Features and User Stories to communicate across all levels of the organization effectively the ‘Whys’ and ‘Whats’.

    6. Proven ability to establish, align and engage processes with strategic direction, goals and initiatives.

    7. Proven ability to successfully manage significant priorities at one time, identifying risk areas, proactively determining appropriate mitigation strategies, managing change management and process obstacles and presenting alternatives for issue resolution.

    8. Ability to work independently with minimal guidance, working toward strategic objectives, delivery plans and milestone goals, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

    9. Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving and conflict management skills.

    10. Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with demonstrated ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences. Excellent active listening skills.

    11. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead teams, work collaboratively and build and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of associates, management, and internal customers across the bank, as well as external vendors and other stakeholders.

    12. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to deliver commitments while juggling multiple projects and priorities. Ability to work effectively under deadline pressures and adjust quickly and effectively to changing priorities.

     

    Technology Requirements?

     

    • Knowledge with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and Azure DevOps, ServiceNow

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
