    Position Purpose

    The VP, Global Scheduling role exists to develop and maintain a master schedule that encompasses project work in all phases across capabilities and geographies. The role will put the systems in place to schedule from the employee level to the macro level to provide business leaders with the correct information to manage capacity and employee assignments. The schedule will connect market needs, operational needs (procurement, rental assets, engineering assignments etc) and financial needs. The VP, Global Scheduling works across the Operational Leadership team to ensure scheduling best practices are met and maintained to create an accurate global schedule.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    + Deliver schedule updates on a regular cadence (weekly, monthly, quarterly)

    + Make recommendations based on schedule to achieve the company’s financial goals

    + Work directly with capability leaders to develop and deliver crucial capacity information

    + Continue to evaluate and develop tools to improve the scheduling process

    + Develops and maintains metrics to understand how the company is achieving its schedule related goals

    People Management / Leadership Responsibilities:

    + This role will have direct reports but will also have a number of resource schedulers that it will support and help educate.

    + Leadership and team development within direct team as well as extended team

    Performance Management:

    + Coaching direct reports to support and influence capabilities based on what the schedule is showing

    + Collaboration across OLT, ELT and Competency leaders to develop solutions which provide crucial scheduling data to managers to better make decisions.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + 10 plus years’ experience scheduling in a fast paced and varied project environment

    + Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Scheduling or related field required

    + Experience with ERP Systems

    + Experience with PSA (Professional Service Automation

    + Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus

    + Experience in an engineering environment a plus

    + Experience in any sort of creative environment a plus

    + Understanding of supply chain management a plus

    + Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks which require following basic safety precautions

    + Must be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work within or visit areas where required. This includes, safety glasses, reflective vest, ear plugs, steel toed shoes, and other PPE as required by the location
