System One is seeking an Electronics Lab Technician for a direct hire opportunity based in Oak Ridge, TN. In this pivotal role, you will play an integral part in laboratory operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality in our procurement processes. Key Responsibilities:
As an Electronics Lab Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
+ Execute CGD Plans: Implement and support CGD activities, ensuring adherence to Safety Related (Quality Level 1) procurement protocols.
+ Design and Implement Test Setups: Create, fabricate, and execute testing configurations that fulfill comprehensive technical requirements.
+ Development of Test Plans: Assist in the formulation of qualification test plans and execute specialized tests vital for commercial grade dedication.
+ Perform Failure Analysis: Diagnose and repair electronic systems and instrumentation, conducting thorough failure analyses to determine root causes.
+ Conduct Seismic Testing: Utilize a Triaxial Seismic Testing machine for precise seismic evaluations.
+ Environmental Testing: Carry out environmental testing in line with established test plans and protocols.
+ Coordination of Inspections: Collaborate with internal teams and external testing facilities to oversee and validate special inspections and testing activities.
+ Ensure Compliance: Uphold compliance with industry regulations, organizational standards, and technical specifications continuously.
+ Additional Duties: Flexibly perform other responsibilities as assigned by management to support team objectives.
Qualifications:
+ Education: Associate Degree in a technical field; or equivalent experience in the Nuclear Industry/Supplier sector, with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience preferred.
+ Technical Skills: Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and operating manuals. Proficiency in writing detailed test reports that outline results and recommendations.
+ Familiarity with Equipment: Experience using test equipment such as Digital Multimeters (DMM), Oscilloscopes, Variable Voltage Sources, and other instrumentation is required. Familiarity with more specialized equipment like OES, XRF, and FTIR is a plus.
+ Knowledge of CGD: Understanding of Commercial Grade Dedication principles (EPRI NP5652) and Equipment Qualification processes preferred.
+ Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities, with a collaborative and diplomatic approach.
+ Computer Proficiency: Must be adept in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
