How will you make an impact?
The Senior Manufacturing Technician, POROS Manufacturing will play a pivotal role in the production of POROS chromatography resin and provide assistance to maintenance and distribution as needed. You will also perform basic office support activities and demonstrate behaviors that build a positive culture and professional work environment. You will encounter recurring work situations with moderate complexity, with occasional variations from the norm.
What will you do?
+ Perform duties within the corporate EH&S Standards and place the utmost emphasis on safety and quality.
+ Operate various process equipment including reactors, pressure filters, pumps, filling, labeling, and packaging equipment according to written SOPs/UOPs in a large-scale, chemical batch manufacturing process.
+ Train new employees on SOPs and UOPs for unit operations like equipment changeovers and processes.
+ Maintain batch and equipment records per department’s ISO13485 standards and Good Documentation practices with a high focus on quality.
+ Work with the team on 5S and continuous improvement activities within the work center including cleaning activities in areas as needed.
How will you get here?
+ High School Diploma or equivalent experience
+ Minimum of 3 years of chemical or biotech manufacturing experience and knowledge of computer applications is required.
+ Experience in cGMP Environment, use of Delta V, and/or SAP is desirable.
+ Proficient oral and written communication skills are required to be effective in this role.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
+ Ability to interpret data, perform basic calculations, and troubleshooting skills.
+ Highly organized and excellent at multi-tasking, proactive, hardworking, and self-motivated.
+ Stand most of the shift, lift ~40lbs up stairs, move 55-gallon drums on wheeled dollies, wear necessary PPE.
+ Demonstrate resourcefulness in ability to adapt in fast-paced environment.
