Job Purpose

BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as a Jr. System Bench Architect Intern in our Summer Internship Program.

The Systems Bench Architect will be part of a team to ensure all systems and software test benches meet the functional requirements of the projects.

Key Responsibilities

+ Participates in design, procurement, installation, and deployment of test benches

+ Collaborate with systems development and test teams, as well as with the hardware and software teams throughout product development process for electrification products

+ Continue development of bench top RESolver simulator prototype

+ Continue development of RESolver buffer box prototype

+ Develop tools in Python and LabVIEW to support bench infrastructure

+ Support bench tools, Vector, Lauterbach, and ETAS

What We Are Looking For

+ Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or be a graduate from an accredited college

+ GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or B average, upon initial hire date

+ PCB layout experience

+ Ability to debug test systems and the board/interconnect level

+ Basic soldering and circuit board modification experience

+ IT setup / computer upgrades experience

+ Experience with NI-Veristand, NI-LabVIEW, NI FPGA Programming

+ Python programming experience
