Middle School Science Teacher | $40/hr | Full-Time | 36-Week Contract | Tonopah, AZ

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a Middle School Science Teacher to support a 7th-grade cohort in Tonopah, AZ. This full-time, in-person role begins October 5, 2025, and runs for 36 weeks, offering a competitive rate of $40/hour.

Position Overview:

+ Location: Tonopah, AZ

+ Start Date: October 5, 2025

+ Duration: 36 weeks

+ Schedule: Tuesday–Friday (4 days x 10 hours)

+ Hours: 40/week

+ Modality: In-person

+ Interview: Virtual

Caseload Details:

+ 7th Grade

+ 4 science classes (each 80 minutes)

+ 60-minute common planning time with fellow 7th-grade science teacher

+ Shared student cohort with ELA, Math, and Social Studies

Key Responsibilities:

+ Implement daily instructional plans effectively

+ Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth

+ Establish rapport with students and collaborate with school staff

+ Ensure proper classroom management and student safety

+ Communicate effectively with parents, administration, and colleagues

Minimum Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree or higher

+ Valid Arizona teaching license/certification

+ One year of teaching experience (preferred)

+ CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
