The Fontana Unified School District in Fontana, California, is seeking a qualified Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS) Counselor to provide comprehensive mental health support to students with individualized education programs (IEPs). The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering direct counseling services, conducting assessments, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and developing individualized treatment plans that support both the educational and emotional needs of students. Applicants must hold a valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential with authorization in School Counseling or School Psychology and demonstrate experience in school-based mental health services. Minimum Requirements:

+ Must hold a valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential in School Counseling, School Psychology, or School Social Work.

+ Alternatively, licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist may be accepted.

+ Possess a master’s degree or higher in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related mental health field.

+ Experience providing mental health services in school or educational settings is preferred.

+ Ability to conduct mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.

+ Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and special education processes.

+ Services provided must be medically necessary and included in the student’s IEP or related plans.

+ Must follow professional scope of practice and maintain current service recommendations annually.

+ Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

+ Current CPR if applicable

+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

+ Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
