Position Overview

We are seekingcompassionate and dedicated InstructionalAssistants (School Aides) to join our special education team. Theseroles are classroom-based and involve working directly with students requiringinstructional and/or behavioral support under the supervision of specialeducation staff and classroom teachers.

You will play avital role in:

+ Supporting students in self-contained special education classrooms

+ Assisting with instructional activities and behavior redirection

+ Promoting student engagement, safety, and inclusion

+ Providing physical mobility and therapeutic care support as directed by health professionals

Minimum Requirements

+ High School diploma or equivalent

+ Must be at least 18 years of age

+ Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations

+ Current CPR certification (if applicable)

+ TB questionnaire, PPD test, or chest x-ray (if applicable)

+ Current health certificate (as required by contract or state regulation)

+ Adherence to professional standards of practice

Ideal Candidate

+ Experience working with special education students, especially in self-contained settings

+ Comfortable managing minor behavioral challenges with redirection and prompting

+ Team-oriented and proactive in supporting lead teachers

+ Passionate about making a difference in students’ lives
