    The Inside Sales Representative role exists to develop meaningful business relationships with new and existing clients through a combination of phone, digital, occasional in-person, channel partners, product demos, meetings, events, and community interactions.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Expertise in Representing Millennium

    Daily Expectations:

    + Be curious and grow opportunities

    Weekly Expectations:

    + Attend and contribute to all market, sales, 1:1 meetings, and internal and vendor training

    + Participate in vendor/product education independently as well as company-provided

    Monthly Expectations:

    + Align with vendor reps on monthly objectives, teaming, client demo opportunities, and travel when necessary

    + Participate in sales skill development and internal/external professional training

    + Better your team-make, market, client, and industry you serve

     

    Discover, Research, and Prospect New Opportunities

    Daily Expectations:

    + Research new leads, referrals, industry insights, and Millenniums’ intranet channels

    + Conduct Meetings advancing the ask, listen, solve, delivery proven sales process

    Weekly Expectations:

    + Complete designated circuit for the week, qualifying and generating leads, and 2 referrals

    + Introduce new prospects to CRM, replenishing the lost or disqualified prospects

    + Introduce new investing client(s) weekly

    Measurable Expectations:

    + Prospecting phone calls > 20 per day

    + Introduce >3 prospects to CRM

     

    Create/Close Sales Opportunities and Strengthen Client Relationships

    Daily Expectations:

    + Manage activity around open quotes/ decisions, ask for sale, conditional close, take away

    + Collaborate with Sales Coordinator to fulfill client expectations

    Weekly Expectations:

    + Travel when necessary for client visits, meetings, walk-in intros, events, and trainings

    + Engage with client and sales coordinator from initial prospecting to alternative solutions to fulfillment of ordered items to ensure a positive Millennium experience

    + Introduce new contacts to Millennium Broadband Solutions' capabilities

    Monthly Expectations:

    + Initiate Quarterly Business Reviews with top 10 clients and prospects

    + Align with marketing and digital media in messaging, client relationships, and appreciation

    Measurable Expectations:

    + Volume of sales meeting conducted

    + Retain 85% of existing, assigned clients

    + Client diversity not to exceed 20%

    + Increase Millennium’s share of client overall spend through additional products (cross-selling)

     

    Achieve Sales and Marginal Goals

    Daily Expectations:

    + Make a sale and schedule 1-2, 30-minute future meetings

    + Fight to achieve personal, team, and greater region and company revenue goals

    Weekly Expectations:

    + Generate sales results weekly in line with established targets, objectives,s and goals

    Monthly Expectations:

    + Receive, understand, and act upon monthly, quarterly, and annualized sales and marginal objectives

    Measurable Expectations:

    + Introduce 4+ new investing clients monthly

    + Sales growth of existing clients exceed 80%

    + New client sales to account for 9% or higher

     

    New Technologies and Alternative Marketing Channels

    Daily Expectations:

    + Self-educate on new technologies, solutions, and product offerings

    + Use new innovation as a conversation starter in daily engagement and events

    Weekly Expectations:

    + Leverage vendor relationships, training, and resources to relay insights to clients

    Monthly Expectations:

    + Cascade intelligence and technology of worth gathered through research to the team, region, and greater Millennium

    + Report findings from new technology, alternative marketing channels, and events

    + Promote and attend special events, lunch and learns, product demos, trade shows, meetings, town halls, community events, and philanthropic activities

    What Will Make You Successful:

    + Proven experience in Inside Sales in the telecom, technology, or similar industries.

    + Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.

    + Strong understanding of a full inside sales lifecycle, from sourcing and procurement to remarketing and client solutions.
