    Position Title: School Bus Mechanic

    Overview:

    The School Bus Mechanic plays a vital role in the safe and efficient operation of the school district's bus fleet. This position is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of school buses, ensuring they meet all local, state, and federal safety standards. The mechanic will also be expected to communicate effectively with bus drivers and the Transportation Director to support daily transportation operations. Applicants must have a valid Class B CDL with school bus, passenger, and air brake endorsements. This position is on an as needed basis, no guaranteed hours.
