    British Swim School is the nation’s leading swim school, focused on water safety and survival skills for children and adults. We are seeking a motivated and organized Aquatic Manager to oversee swim operations at our Howell, NJ location.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage daily swim school operations and instructor schedules

    + Lead, train, and support a team of swim instructors

    + Ensure program quality, safety, and adherence to curriculum

    + Provide excellent customer service and communicate with parents

    + Assist with hiring, onboarding, and ongoing staff development

    + Monitor pool conditions and equipment, ensuring safety standards

    + Support marketing, enrollment growth, and customer retention

    + Requirements

    + Leadership experience, ideally in aquatics, childcare, or education

    + Strong communication and organizational skills

    + Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

    + Comfortable in the water and able to demonstrate swim skills

    + Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications (or ability to obtain)

    + Management or supervisory experience preferred

    Compensation: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year

    While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities, most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.

     

    We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team, even if you're not in the pool. These are the people committed to providing the best service in the industry. In these roles, you might talk to parents on the phone or by the pool. Wherever you are, the aim is to make everyone feel like part of the British Swim School Family as we focus on ensuring the “Survival of the Littlest.”
