Intuit's Customer Success team, within the Consumer Group, is transforming the industry with a suite of high-touch professional services powered by data-driven, technology-lead operations and a distributed professional workforce. The Customer Success team is executing on key company-wide initiatives to help deliver against our vision and strategy. Customer success is no longer downstream care operations but is a critical component of Intuit’s growth through the delivery of services.
This role is focused on services as a product, connecting our customers with professionals in our mission of “Powering Prosperity Around the World”. Looking for a challenging role that combines leadership, advanced analytics, and real-world impact? We’re hiring a **Manager, Data Science** to lead a high-performing team dedicated to driving insights and innovation across our Assisted Tax Products and the broader Customer Success ecosystem. In this role, you will leverage data, experimentation, machine learning, and emerging AI technologies to influence product strategy and create meaningful customer experiences. Your leadership will directly shape decision-making, enhance business outcomes, and foster a culture of data-driven innovation.

What you'll bring
+ BS, MS, or PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Math, Econometrics, Operations Research, or related field.
+ 1–2+ years of experience managing or tech-leading data science teams.
+ 8+ years of experience as a data scientist, analyst, or data-driven business leader, with a proven track record of delivering measurable business impact.
+ Advanced skills in SQL, Python, R, and other analytical tools, with practical experience using data visualization platforms.
+ Deep expertise in at least one core area: experimentation (A/B testing, causal inference), predictive modeling, machine learning, or statistical analysis.
+ Strong collaboration and communication skills, with ability to influence product and engineering decisions.
+ Proven ability to deliver end-to-end data science solutions that create customer or business value.
+ Demonstrated experience applying AI/ML to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, or large-scale product ecosystems.
+ Track record of partnering with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., product, operations, compliance, international teams) to deliver scalable solutions.
+ Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in ambiguous, high-growth environments.

+ Build scalable structures, processes, and rituals that allow teams to operate effectively in nascent product spaces.
+ Foster resilience, adaptability, and accountability within the team while maintaining a culture of continuous learning.
+ Lead and influence cross-functional teams using data driven insights and influence innovative data backed solutions in complex situations.
+ Provide technical leadership in applying advanced statistical, machine learning, and experimental design methods to complex problems.
+ Translate ambiguous business problems into well-defined analytical projects, shaping strategic decisions through data-driven insights.
+ Provide clear, actionable recommendations to senior leaders across product, design, and engineering.
+ Champion the use of experimentation and causal inference to validate product hypotheses and optimize experiences.
+ Drive continuous improvement in data science methodologies, tools, and experimentation practices.
+ Partner with engineering and product to scale AI- and ML-driven automation across customer and expert workflows, driving measurable improvements in efficiency, customer satisfaction, and conversion.
+ Act as a thought leader within Intuit on emerging trends in data science, AI/ML, and Customer Success analytics, sharing insights across business units.
