Job Description
A company in the Boulder, CO area is looking for a DevOps Engineers to join their team in support of classified programs. The DevOps Engineer is responsible for a variety of efforts including:
- Leverages automation to streamline development pipelines, integrating tools such as Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins to support test-driven development and continuous delivery.
- Designs and maintains productivity-enhancing tools using programming, scripting, and database technologies to improve software modeling and development efficiency.
- Implements robust build procedures and enforces software configuration management (SCM), code quality, and coverage standards through automated testing within CI/CD workflows.
- Operates within agile frameworks to ensure rapid iteration and continuous feedback.
Pay Range: ~$90K-150K annually. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
- Active Secret clearance or higher
- STEM Degree and 2-9+ years of related experience (various levels of openings)
- Familiarity with Software Configuration Management (SCM), code quality, and code coverage with automated testing for Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
- Experience with any of the following: Atlassian Tool Suite, Jenkins, Git, Conan, or Cmake
- Strong automation experience (automation within and between tools strongly preferred)
- Familiarity with C++ and Object Oriented programming
- Python/shell scripting experience
- Comfortability with Linux Operating Systems - Experience with Microservices, containerization (Podman preferred)
- Experience with Static Code Analysis (SonarQube or similar) and software security
- Experience with Simulation tools such as MATLAB, Simulink or ClearCase/ClearQuest
- Configuration management software experience (i.e. Git, Conan, CMake, Nexus, etc.)
- Experience modernizing software baselines
